THE NEED TO ACCEPT JESUS.

KEY TEXT: Romans 10:9-13

  The first step to becoming a Christian and getting filled with the holy spirit is by accepting Jesus. The acceptance of Jesus is accompanied with so many rewards.

 “Verily verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me , hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life”(John 5:24).

  The above verse of the bible makes us understand that anyone who believes that Jesus was sent by God and believes in his word in his words will have an everlasting life will not be condemned. The two significant ideas conveyed in the verse are EVERLASTING LIFE and RESURRECTION. You stand a chance to be brought out of the pit of death and be commended for your faith in Christ Jesus.  The lord also gave us his words in John 6:35 that anyone who believes in him will never go hungry or thirsty. What a great promise! All you need to do is just believe and partake of these wonderful promises.

"Dear lord, I am willing to accept you as my saviour, and friend. I ask for you grace to overcome every form of doubt and unbelief. Lord Jesus, forgive my sins and show me thy salvation."
